LATEST: UNFORTUNATELY IT IS NOW TOO LATE TO REQUEST A REFUND OR A DEFERRED ENTRY.
The HHH is an event for cyclists organized by cyclists. That's why we have made our withdrawal terms as flexible and reasonable as possible given the considerable costs of organizing the event.
WHAT YOU CAN'T DO:
Give or sell your place in the HHH to someone else. (You will appreciate that it is essential for the organizers to know the genuine identities and personal details of all those who are participating in the event. Signing falsely against a pre-printed name on the registration sheet or in another name disqualifies the signee from the event).
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
(1) Ask us to DEFER your entry to next year. On request, we will shift your entry from HHH2012 to HHH2013 at no extra charge and without surcharge even if next year's event fee increases. This will allow us to take further entries for this year and reduce the number of 'no-shows' on the start list as much as possible. This is our preferred option and is taken up by the majority of those whose ambition to ride the HHH in the current season is frustrated by injury, work commitments, etc.
(2) Up to 7 working days after entering, ask us for a full refund. This is your statutory right.
(3) Beyond the seven-day 'cooling off' period, ask us for a part-refund. We will withdraw you from the event and post you a cheque for £20.00. We don't know of any other sportive that does this, so it probably makes us pretty unpopular with other organizations.
THESE CONDITIONS END AT MIDNIGHT ON 28 APRIL 2013
(or earlier, in which case entrants will be informed by e-mail 24 hrs in advance).
All drop out requests, please, to: admin@sportivecycling.org.uk
(Note: Please DO NOT e-mail SiEntries)
