The HHH currently bases itself at Sparsholt College near Winchester. Parking is on site at a number of carparks close to the hall in which Registration takes place and where refreshments are available. You must sign on and collect your timing device. The Start and Finish is immediately outside the hall.
The entire route is marked with arrow boards (yellow on black) though you will also receive a printed routesheet as a fall back. Well before the event, a range of downloadable maps/data will be available via this website
for bar-mounted GPS.
The HHH maintains three very well stocked feedstations (two on the shorter route. These are at village halls on the course, and offer toilet facilities, shelter and first aid as well as a variety of food and energy drink. The super-fit riders grab something and are away, or don't stop at all. Others take their time.
The HHH route has been designed to thread you through a part of southern England via reasonable surfaces (though in recent years dur to maintenance cutbacks and severe winters these have inevitably deteriorated) avoiding traffic as much as possible. It is therefore a scenic and often deserted route where the occasional driver/motorcylist or deer/rabbit/pheasant might not expect you.
